Your gift to the Annual Fund will provide current use dollars to support the important work of the Center for Clinical Bioethics at Georgetown University. Committed to bringing the rich resources of Georgetown's Catholic and Jesuit heritage to the dialogue surrounding current issues in bioethics and ethics education.

The staff of the Center for Clinical Bioethics:

• Teach a formal ethics curriculum for medical and nursing students and for major clinical services in the hospital.
• Provides ethics consultation to professional organizations, health care systems and institutions, educators, and legislative bodies.
• Conduct theoretical and empirical research in health care ethics.
• Provide Ethics Consult Services for the medical center
• Offer courses, tutorials, conferences and workshops, and mentorships with students and visiting researchers/scholars from around the globe.
• Sponsor ethics rounds throughout the medical center
• Serve on the hospital ethics committee and the institutional review boards.
