Richard L. Theriault, DO, MBA, DSc(hon) is Professor of Medicine in the Department of Breast Medical Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Theriault is a visting scholar at the Center September 10, 2007 through February 15, 2008.

Research Topic: Independent Study in Bioethics: Clinical Research Ethics Curriculum for Medical Oncology Fellows.

Research Summary:  1) to develop sufficient depth and breadth of knowledge in clinical research ethics to be a resource for medical oncology trainees
2) to develop a substantive curriculum in clinical research ethics for medical oncology trainees participating in basic, translational or clinical research or developing careers as clinical educators.
3) to explore the "evidence based" clinical research ethics
