Sara DeLeon, Biomedical Science Policy & Advocacy (BSPA) ’25, began an independent study with the PCCB’s Jim Giordano in January 2023, researching local genetic counseling services. She hopes to expand genetic counseling services and to provide testing and health plans more equitably to underserved and under-represented populations.
