Long-awaited Compendium of Pellegrino scholarship published

Pellegrino’s Clinical Bioethics: A Compendium, a collection of landmark articles in clinical bioethics authored by the the PCCB’s founder, physician and philosopher Edmund D Pellegrino, is now available from Catholic University Press. Edited by G. Kevin Donovan, MD; David G. Miller, PhD, and Claudia Ruiz Sotomayor, MD, DBe, the compendium focuses on topics in clinical bioethics that have been of particular interest to scholars and practitioners and complements the 2008 volume The Philosophy of Medicine Reborn: A Pellegrino Reader, (Notre Dame University Press).

G. Kevin Donovan, MD, MA is Professor Emeritus and immediate past Director of the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics. David G. Miller, PhD is Associate Director for Academic Programs and
Administrator at the Pellegrino Center. Claudia Ruiz Sotomayor, MD, DBe is Chief of the Clinical Ethics Consultation service of the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics, and an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center.
