Prof. Edmund D. Pellegrino, MD, MACP dies at age 92

Edmund Daniel Pellegrino, MD, MACP, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2013, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Clementine C. Pellegrino; loving father of Thomas (Jane), Stephen, Virginia (Christopher DiCicco), Michael, Andrea (Ronald Keith), Alice and Leah; grandfather of Daniel Pellegrino (Nicole) and Alice Cowan (Bryan); great-grandfather of Andrew Cowan.

Friends will be received at Church of the Little Flower in Bethesda, Maryland, 5607 Massachusetts Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20816 on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Little Flower on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 12 noon. Private interment will take place afterward. The reception will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Maplewood Park Place, 9707 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
