Ed Grant

A graduate of Georgetown University (A.B.), Northwestern University (J.D.) and the Dominican House of Studies (M.A.), Ed is an adjunct assistant professor of Family Medicine at GUSOM. Grant has taught for 20 years in the ethics curriculum at GUSOM and has published numerous scholarly articles and book chapters on a wide range of topics at the intersection of law and medical ethics. He recently retired after 25 years of service as an appellate judge on the Board of Immigration Appeals in the U.S. Department of Justice. In retirement, he hopes to expand his work in bioethics both in research/publication and as a clinical ethicist.
